BROOKLYN—To the surprise of no one, comedienne Sandra Bernhard revealed today that she’s gradually turning into a middle-aged cab driver named Sully from South Brooklyn, NY. “It’s a natural progression,” Bernhard said as ashes and cigarette butts flew out of her mouth. “I’ve always sort of looked like a guy in drag anyway.”

The news throws fans for a loop, as most people were under the impression Bernhard was turning into Igor from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, or a photoshopped version of Claire Dames with the “sphere” filter applied to her face.

Other celebrity transformation quick hits: Metallica vocalist James Hetfield is turning into Tom Waits, Jersey Shore’s Snookie has mutated into one of those goblin things from Hobgoblins, and Shepard Smith has successfully but inadvertently transformed into Elrond from Lord of the Rings, aka the “Mr. Annnndersonnnn” guy from The Matrix.
